This year the OSRC is proud to announce the 2016 Poster Board presentation winner; Jeremy Plambeck from OIT.
Jeremy presented an outstanding study on At Home Sleep Studies, a Tool Aiding in the Diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
This study was a retrospective look at the new change in polysomnography looking at in-home sleep studies by comparing them to facility based lab studies for efficacy of the tests that included pre-screening, risk assessments, and outcomes.
The conclusion that has been verified by Jeremy is that these home sleep studies are a reliable tool that assist in the diagnosis of OSA patients with a high pre-test probability.
Congratulations again to Jeremy Plambeck for a job well done.
